The Treason Show

About The Treason Show

The Treason Show began life at Brighton's Komedia in 2000 with the idea of "trying one a month for three months and see what happens." 20 years later, the show has built up plaudits, awards, a loyal following and now a broadcast TV series .

With a monthly topical show the show moved around, touring the UK and also with an international version in Berlin. The show moved from the Komedia to Brighton Dome, and has been nomadic since then, taking up residency at various venues such as the Old Ship Hotel, The Old Market, Brighton Theatre Royal and more recently the Brighton Palace Pier.

With the pandemic shutting down live shows of the Treason Show's size (company of 4 - 5 people) the show has migrated to television on Latest TV which is Brighton's local station on channel 7 on freeview and 159 on Virgin. The TV version is also being shown in Kent, Nottingham, Sheffield and Belfast amongst others and will make a second series this autumn.
